Matt give really specific ARG played in LG15. He try to explained the detail in the video and how is that connect to YouTube as a new form of media. His intended audience was the general public.
critique: I think he need more specific one in his paper, because he give too much detail and make reader confuse a little bit. He need to complete his work cited, in text citations.

A little film market or a little television market?


Youtube is a new form of media, it mixed movie, TV shows, A.D... It's hard to define what kind of media is Youtube. But I think it's more close to TV shows. There are lots of TV programs shows in Youtube, they are short, or separate several parts to audient. Some people put their movie on the Youtube, but they usually very short, and they dont have clear timeline, it's hard for them to be a movie star though Youtube. These movie more relative to home video, just like a TV show.

People who have lots of knowledge, they know how to handle different question. These people educated well, have many social experiences, shows confidence in the public.

Our generation:

In 20 centur, people play game on TV, through red-white Nintendo. Now lots of young men play game. Wii, ps3, x-box, all kind of new technology coming out. Like Wii, people can play sport without going outside, good entertainment for excise. Also, bunch of people play online game, they like to interact, communicate with other people.

Lonely Girl

Bree, who is the main character in the video, she is about 15 (is it that real? because she dont act like 15 year old..), she is home-educated by her religious parents. Her friend Daniel helps her with these videos. When these videos popped up, people began to question that is real or not. Why these videos attract so many audiences? I think not only she is cute and fetch peer group, our public media also give influence about these videos. There are bunch storage things: Bree is a religious person, why her parents let Daniel stay alone in her room? When they took video outdoors, Daniel such as good cameraman, because he holds camera stability.

Why lonelygirl appealing so many people?
Bree is beautiful and cleave. Her emotion is funny. Beside that, I think lots of people pay attention to her video because people can participate to discuss her problems. Not all of people can understand her point of view, but many people have the same problem as she have, people are curious to see what can she handle that.


About YouTube's language?
The language for YouTube video blog are pretty similar. People share their mood with people: sad, happiness, rude, all kind of things they do in their life. People have control with their blog, show their crazy things, with no purpose. YouTube language is easy to understand, visible images or caption can make other foreigner to understand well rather than hard languages.


Could YouTube change the world?
History about our culture, technology changes our life. After thousands years, people still can look backward to see what kind of society human live in 21 century. It record our daily life. YouTube make different cultures to show in one stage. YouTube changes the way people interact, people can share same ideas or comments together. It's the new age for people to put their private things on the public place.


To be part of the world
I think it's good because i have free space to put my video on the website, and share with my friend. It's more convenient. Rather than that, I can watch these funny videos, enjoy what other people's ideas.

We know Apple and Microsoft are always competing with each other but has Apple gone too far this time by mocking the new Windows Vista in these pictures.
From my understanding, there are lots of new things added in Vista already exist in Mac OX 10.4, is it MacroSoft copy some ideas from Apple? New Mac operate system coming soon, are they going to make fun again?

Evaluation

First of all, Safiya declares author’s main point, and she disagreed author’s assumption, which is saying that American tuned out the issues around them in exchange for a video camera and a whole lot of time on their hands. Then she gave some evident about Sony didn’t make enough PS3 last year. After that, she mentioned the Global warming, she though author gave the false statement because some people really try hard to prevent the environment (Oprah and Al Gore). Then she point out the issue that author said American do not seems to care about the war oversea. She gave the reason that most Americans want the troops back and they disagree with Bush Administration action, and also the public support for the war has decreased.
In my personal view, I think this is pretty good paper. She gave many arguments, but do not have a specific one though the whole essay. For each argument, she did provide evident to her option and these statements are clear, easy to understand. If she can make more elaborations about one issue and clear thesis, that paper will be great.
Safiya, she did the face book. She is freshman of Queens College. She loves playing soccer, studying and baking. She came from Trinidad and Tobago, so she loves Jazz, and R&B music. She posted her picture on her profile, and I think she is a pretty open person; even she is quiet in the class.

In Class Writing II

I think most people use Avatar page because they can easily contact with their friends and family members. They have control with their pages. Like most teenagers, they like to share things, like pictures, music, even included their feeling toward some events. Because Avatar pages become more popular, people choose to use it and they won’t get lost in the modern world. The advantage for Avatar page is make people more closely to know each other, give them more confident to talk what they like to say, it’s a good way for mental relaxed.

In Class Assignment 2

This music started off with a man's speaking, we don't really understand what he is saying. Following by that, is kind of scratchy sounds, likes broken mechine. Then there were lots of static music. After that, everything being quiet, music turn to normal, but still uncomfortable sounds, make people stressful.
